Chamber Meetings.

The Chamber of Trade meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at Boyes Store in Queen Street. Everyone is welcome. They start at 6.00pm for 6.15pm when light refreshments are served. We aim to finish the meetings at approximately 7.30pm. The next meeting will be on Tuesday 6th December.

Literature Exchange Workshop

Discover Yorkshire Coast Tourism Services, Scarborough Hospitality Association and Scarborough Chamber of Trade would like to invite you to their first joint Discover Yorkshire Coast Literature Exchange Workshop 2017. The workshop will give you an excellent opportunity to meet with accommodation providers and gather current literature from tourist attractions, shops and tourism associations in the area such as Discover Yorkshire Coast who will be exhibiting and distributing their latest literature (32 confirmed exhibitors so far). Production of the 2017 edition of the Scarborough Pocket Guide is well underway. 80,000 copies will be printed and distributed from mid March,on a monthly basis, to over 500 locations including Hotels, Guest Houses, Caravan and Holiday Parks, Theatres, Cafes, Shops and Tourist Information Centres within a 70 mile radius.
A small amount of advertising space is available from just £155 for over 7 months continual advertsing. If you own a business or know of a business who would like to be included, please contact Tony Stevens on info@effectivepr.net or ring 01723 864571.

Our Independent Shop Owners led the way in the Annual Christmas Shop Window Display Competition. Category Winner for Large Stores was W Boyes & Co. Electrodec and Bibelot Bee attained a Gold Plus in the Independent Stores with Prilly's Pantry awarded a Gold. Homebird House was awarded a Gold Plus in the Themed Window Category. In the attached photo with their Certificates are L-R: Elaine Truman from Boyes, Amy Crowther from Electrodec, Chris Golder from Boyes, Scarlett Arnison from Bibelot Bee, Alex Anderson from Homebird House, Janet Jefferson and Georgette Donoghue from The Scarborough Chamber of Trade who were the Judges along with Tony Stevens.
